IDO1
Indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase-1 (IDO1) is an enzyme involved in catabolizing tryptophan a key nutrient for T-cells. The IDO enzyme, activated in dendritic cells (DC) and macrophages, helps create a environment that favors immune suppression and tumor tolerance.
