1 vial of 100 µg whole HEK293T cell lysate in RIPA buffer
Storage The lysate is shipped with dry ice. Upon receiving, store the sample at -80°C. Also after dilution, the protein sample should be aliquoted and stored at -80°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Lysate samples can be diluted with 1x SDS-PAGE running buffer (with reducing agent). Lysate samples are stable for 12 months from the date of receipt when stored at -80°C. Lysate samples are stable for 12 months from the date of receipt when stored at -80°C.

Preparation HEK293T cells in 10-cm dishes were transiently transfected with MegaTran Transfection Reagent (TT200002) and 5ug TrueORF cDNA plasmid. Transfected cells were cultured for 48hrs before collection. The cells were lysed in modified RIPA buffer (25mM Tris-HCl pH7.6, 150mM NaCl, 1% NP-40, 1mM EDTA, 1xProteinase inhibitor cocktail mix (Sigma), 1mM PMSF and 1mM Na3VO4), and then centrifuged to clarify the lysate. Protein concentration was measured by BCA kit (Thermo Scientific Inc.).

Hyperactive TGF-β Signaling in Smooth Muscle Cells Exposed to HIV-protein(s) and Cocaine: Role in Pulmonary Vasculopathy
Dalvi, Sharma, Konstantinova et al
Sci Rep (2017) 7 (1), 10433 DOI: 10.1038/s41598-017-10438-3
AI Summary: OriGene's PCMV6-XL5-BMPR2 plasmid and PCMV6-XL5 vector were used to manipulate BMPR2 expression in human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells, enabling the study of how BMPR2 downregulation by HIV-proteins and cocaine contributes to hyperactive TGF-β signaling and pulmonary vasculopathy.
Snippet: After 2 days of transfecting HPASMC with either PCMV6-XL5-BMPR2 plasmid or empty PCMV6-XL5 vector (Origene Technologies, Inc., Rockville, MD) as described previously 15 , cells were serum starved for 48 h followed by cocaine and Tat treatment.

BMP-2/4 and BMP-6/7 differentially utilize cell surface receptors to induce osteoblastic differentiation of human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells
Lavery, Swain, Falb et al
J Biol Chem (2008) 283 (30), 20948-58 DOI: 10.1074/jbc.M800850200
AI Summary: OriGene products contributed to this study by providing specific siRNAs (OriGene, SR321082, SR304684, SR304685, SR303554, SR321083, SR321084) used for RNA interference-mediated gene knockdown of BMP receptors in human mesenchymal stem cells, enabling the authors to elucidate receptor-specific signaling mechanisms during osteoblastic differentiation.
