Background Dulaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 agonist) consisting of a GLP-1 (7-37) analog covalently linked to an Fc fragment of human IgG4. It acts similarly to GLP-1 by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas following food ingestion. It is known in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to lower blood glucose levels.
