Background Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology.Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. AI Summary: OriGene’s rabbit anti-human GOT-2 polyclonal antibody (catalog #TA325088) was used for Western blot detection of GOT2 expression, enabling assessment of transgene expression and functional analysis in the study.
Snippet: … Aberrant GPC3 expression is implicated in tumorigenesis [30–32], and GPC3-positive cancers including hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC), are characterized by a highly metabolic and immunosuppressive landscape [33], and exhaustion is a common feat;Western blot antibodies for GOT2 detection were rabbit anti-human GOT-2 polyclonal antibody (Origene, catalog #TA325088) and HRP-conjugated AffiniPure Goat anti-rabbit IgG (ThermoFisher, catalog #G-21234). …
