Background The protein encoded by this gene is the medium chain of the trans-Golgi network clathrin-associated protein complex AP-1. The other components of this complex are beta-prime-adaptin, gamma-adaptin, and the small chain AP1S1. This complex is located at the Golgi vesicle and links clathrin to receptors in coated vesicles. These vesicles are involved in endocytosis and Golgi processing. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct protein isoforms have been found for this gene. provided by RefSeq.
Synonyms AP47; CLAPM2; CLTNM; MU-1A

Gut-derived endotoxin stimulates factor viii secretion from endothelial cells. implications for hypercoagulability in cirrhosis
Roberto, Valeria, Cristina et al
J. Hepatol. (2017)
AI Summary: In this study, the OriGene rabbit polyclonal AP1-M1 antibody was used to detect specific proteins in endothelial cells, helping to elucidate the mechanism by which gut-derived endotoxin stimulates factor VIII secretion.
Snippet: After blocking, membranes were incubated with different antibodies: rabbit polyclonal AP1-M1 antibody (Origene, Rockville, Maryland, USA), rabbit polyclonal Rab27A antibody (Elabscience, Bethesda, Maryland, USA), mouse monoclonal anti-Rab3B antibody (Abnova ...
