Summary This gene encodes a transcription factor which is a member of a small family of basic leucine zipper (bZIP) proteins. The encoded transcription factor regulates genes which contain antioxidant response elements (ARE) in their promoters; many of these genes encode proteins involved in response to injury and inflammation which includes the production of free radicals. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized for this gene. provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015

AI Summary: OriGene’s recombinant human Nrf2 protein (TP760529) was used to assess the binding interactions between Nrf2 and 1,8-Cineole, contributing to the study’s analysis of molecular mechanisms underlying the protective effects of 1,8-Cineole in diabetes.
Snippet: The binding capacity of Sirt1 to 1,8-Cineole or recombinant human Nrf2 Protein (TP760529, full length;OriGene, Beijing, China) was assessed with Biacore evaluation 3.1 analysis software (GE Healthcare). The affinity results of various concentrations of 1,8-Cineole and Nrf2 were subjected to global fitting to determine equilibrium dissociation constants (KDs)
