Reference Data
UniProt ID P38507
Synonyms ProA, Staphylococcus A protein, Protein A Biotin Conjugated
Summary Protein A is a surface protein (approximately 56kDa in size) originally discovered within the cell wall of Staphylococcus aureus. While important for bacterial survival, Protein A has beneficial uses in immunology for its high affinity binding to immunoglobulins (especially the IgG isotype). This high affinity property makes Protein A essential in the large scale purification of antibodies.

Circulating NK cell subsets and NKT‑like cells in renal transplant recipients with acute T‑cell‑mediated renal allograft rejection
Xu, Han, Huang et al
Mol Med Rep (2019) 19 (5), 4238-4248 DOI: 10.3892/mmr.2019.10091
AI Summary: OriGene's hematoxylin (cat. no. ZLI 9608) and eosin (cat. no. ZLI 9613) staining products were used to prepare tissue slides for grading acute rejection and controls in this study of NK cell subsets in renal transplant recipients.
Snippet: All slides were stained with hematoxylin (cat. no. ZLI 9608) and eosin (cat. no. ZLI 9613;both OriGene Technologies, Inc., Beijing, China) for 3-5 min at room temperature and used for grading of acute rejection and the controls (IRI and CNI toxicity)

REV-ERBα reduction is associated with clinicopathological features and prognosis in human gastric cancer
Wang, Wang, Wei et al
Oncol Lett (2018) 16 (2), 1499-1506 DOI: 10.3892/ol.2018.8809
AI Summary: OriGene products, specifically the streptavidin-biotin horseradish peroxidase complex and 3,3′-diaminobenzidine, were used for immunohistochemical staining to detect protein expression in gastric cancer tissue samples in this study.
Snippet: OriGene Technologies, Inc., Beijing, China), the tissue slides were incubated with a streptavidin-biotin horseradish peroxidase complex for 30 min at room temperature, followed by incubation with 3,3′-diaminobenzidine (ZSGB-BIO;OriGene Technologies, Inc.)
