Background This gene encodes a member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins, which are structurally related to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) proteins and form heterodimers with beta-2-microglobulin. The CD1 proteins mediate the presentation of primarily lipid and glycolipid antigens of self or microbial origin to T cells. The human genome contains five CD1 family genes organized in a cluster on chromosome 1. The CD1 family members are thought to differ in their cellular localization and specificity for particular lipid ligands. The protein encoded by this gene is broadly distributed throughout the endocytic system via a tyrosine-based motif in the cytoplasmic tail. Alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been observed, but their full-length nature is not known. [provided by RefSeq, Jul

Medicine (Baltimore) (2024) 103 (31), e38691 DOI: 10.1097/MD.0000000000038691
AI Summary: In this study, the OriGene CD11C antibody (TA505411S) was used for multiplex immunofluorescence staining to identify and quantify CD1C+ B dendritic cells, aiding in the analysis of immune cell interactions within renal clear cell carcinoma tissues.
Snippet: ips were purchased from HZ Superbiotek Corporation. Multiplex immunofluorescence staining was performed as previously described. The primary Abs were CD68 (ZM-0060, ZSGB-BIO), CD11C (1:50, TA505411S, ORIGENE). The secondary antibody was CY3 or iFluor 488 conjugated secondary antibody incubation. Multispectral images were analyzed, and positive cells were quantified at a single-cell level by Casevi

AI Summary: In this study, OriGene products including the anti-FOLR2 antibody (TA504936), anti-IL32 antibody (TA506380), anti-CD3D antibody (TA500766), and anti-LTC4S antibody (TA502934) were used to validate the expression of key marker genes defining the novel SELENOP-Mφ macrophage cluster identified by single-cell RNA sequencing.
Snippet: of Mφ we identified, which was named as SELENOP-Mφ, highly expressed SELENOP. And SELENOP has been shown to contribute to the local antioxidant capabilities, thus protecting against inflammatory tumorigenesis.47 In our study, the SELENOP-Mφ cluster also highly expressed FOLR2, IL32, CD3D and LTC4S, indicating their intimate correlation with lymphocyte-related function (Supplementary Fig. 6a)
