Product Data
Application FC, IF, PEP-ELISA, WB
Recommended Dilution Peptide ELISA: 1/128000 (Detection Limit).
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 55kDa and a stronger 28kDa in Human Colon and Duodenum lysates after 0.1 µg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 40.1kDa according to NP_071640.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).
Immunohistochemistry/Immunofluorescence: This antibody was successfully used on coronal Rat brain slices as reported in Peng et al, Neurosci Lett. 2013 Apr 29;541:87-92. PMID:23466693.
Reactivity Canine, Human, Mouse, Rat
Antibody Host Goat
Clonality Polyclonal
Immunogen Peptide with sequence from the C-Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_071640.1; NP_001124527.1.

AI Summary: In this study, OriGene's anti-HCN2 antibody (Cat# TA322354) was used to specifically detect HCN2 channel expression in cerebellar neurons, helping to elucidate the role of HCN channels in histaminergic modulation of motor coordination.
Postsynaptic mechanisms underlying the excitatory action of histamine on medial vestibular nucleus neurons in rats

AI Summary: In this study, OriGene products—including specific primers for quantitative real-time RT-PCR targeting H₁, H₂, and H₄ histamine receptors, as well as NCX and HCN channel subtypes—were used to assess mRNA expression levels, thereby helping to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying histamine's excitatory actions on medial vestibular nucleus neurons.
Histamine excites neurons of the inferior vestibular nucleus in rats by activation of H1 and H2 receptors
