Application | IHC |
Recommended Dilution | Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: Monoclonal antibody BM-4 recognizes a nuclear antigen present in granulocytes, monocytes, and myeloid precursor cells. It also reacts with a subset of myeloid leukemia cells. BM-4 has no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. For use on frozen sections or cell suspensions. Blood or bone marrow is the recommended Positive Control tissue. |
Reactivity | Human |
Antibody Host | Mouse |
Isotype | IgG1 |

Specificity | BM-4 recognizes a nuclear antigen expressed in human granulocytes (83%) and monocytes (20%) residing in lymphoid and non-lymphoid tissues. 856-4 is an early marker of myeloid differentiation. BM-4 is specific marker for human myeloid cells. Induction studies using HL-60 cells show that 856-4 identifies a nuclear antigen which is expressed during the early phases of myeloid differentiation. |
