• Background: CD66b is a 95-100 kD, GPI anchored molecule. CD66b is expressed strongly by mature granulocytes and meta-myelocytes, but only weakly by bone marrow myelocytes. Peripheral blood monocytes and lymphocytes do not express significant amounts of this antigen. The antibody reacts with cells from CML in the chronic phase. The CD67 cluster was re-designated as CD66b at the Vth Leucocyte Typing Workshop in Boston, 1993.
