HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Cat# PS100001, Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY NMI (Cat# RC201543, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-NMI (Cat# TA809982)(1:2000). Positive lysates LY417813 (100ug) and LC417813 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  Western blot analysis of extracts (35ug) from 3 different cell lines by using anti-NMI monoclonal antibody (1:500).

• 

  Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (10 ug per lane) of wild-type A549 cells and NMI-Knockout A549 cells (KO, Cat# LC800044) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-NMI monoclonal antibody TA809982 (1:500). Then the blotted membrane was stripped and reprobed with anti-HSP90 antibody as a loading control.

• Background: NMYC interactor (NMI) encodes a protein that interacts with NMYC and CMYC (two members of the oncogene Myc family), and other transcription factors containing a Zip, HLH, or HLH-Zip motif. The NMI protein also interacts with all STATs except STAT2 and augments STAT-mediated transcription in response to cytokines IL2 and IFN-gamma. The NMI mRNA has low expression levels in all human fetal and adult tissues tested except brain and has high expression in cancer cell line-myeloid leukemias. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
