The grant can cover your registration, travel, or accommodation expenses. The deadline for abstract submission is March 14, 2023. The winner will be announced on March 16, 2023.

How to enter?

  • Submit the form with a copy of the accepted abstract and the acceptance letter from the AACR committee.
  • A team of OriGene Ph.D. scientists will review the abstracts and select the winner.
  • The winner will be notified via email.

Terms and Conditions

  • Open to residents in USA and EU only.
  • Applicants can only submit one entry. Any further entries will not be eligible. Applicants must complete the application form in full.
  • Only one application per approved abstract.
  • Only applicants from Universities and Research Institutions are eligible to take part in this competition.
  • The award will cover only the cost of registration, accommodation, and transport to the AACR 2023 meeting, to a total value of $1000. Any remaining balance available after these costs have been covered is not transferable and cannot be used for other expenses.
  • By participating in the competition, you agree to participate in any marketing and PR activities that OriGene deems necessary. These may include the following: An interview featuring on the OriGene blog/website and associated press releases.
  • The deadline for submitting the entry is March 14, 2023, 11.59 pm EST, USA. Any application submitted after this date and time is not eligible.
  • The applicant must be available to attend the AACR meeting in Orlando, Florida. The travel grant applies only to the AACR 2023 meeting. The reimbursement cannot be used for any other meeting.
  • The winning applicants will receive the travel grant via reimbursement from OriGene Technologies Inc.
  • To receive reimbursement, the recipient must provide receipts for their AACR registration, accommodation, and travel.
  • The recipient will receive reimbursement within 30 days of obtaining proof of expense.
  • The reimbursement can only be paid to the individual or institution initially paying for the travel expenses, registration, and accommodation.
  • The OriGene scientific writing team and an assisting group of scientific peers will decide the winners. The decision is at the discretion of the OriGene squad, and its decision is final.
  • Should the event be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the winner will receive their prize in the form of a research grant instead of a travel grant.
