UCN Human Gene Knockout Kit (CRISPR)
UCN - human gene knockout kit via CRISPRchange donor?
HDR-mediated knockout kit validation
KN222576G1, UCN gRNA vector 1 in pCas-Guide vector
KN222576G2, UCN gRNA vector 2 in pCas-Guide vector
donor DNA containing Left and right homologous arms and GFP-puro functional cassette.
GE100003, scramble sequence in pCas-Guide vector
|Disclaimer||The kit is designed based on the best knowledge of CRISPR technology. The system has been functionally validated for knocking-in the cassette downstream the native promoter. The efficiency of the knock-out varies due to the nature of the biology and the complexity of the experimental process.|
|Summary||This gene encodes a member of the sauvagine/corticotropin-releasing factor/urotensin I family. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature peptide, an endogenous ligand for both corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 and corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 2. In the brain this peptide may be responsible for the effects of stress on appetite. This peptide may also play a role in mood disorders, neurodegeneration, and skeletal system disorders. In spite of the gene family name similarity, the product of this gene has no sequence similarity to urotensin-2. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2016].|
