Product Data
Applications ELISA, FN, WB
Recommended Dilution Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hMIP-5 (100.00 ng/ml), a concentration of 2.0-3.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required.
ELISA: To detect hMIP-5 by direct ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5 µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMIP-5.
Western Blot: To detect hMIP-5 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-5 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Gene Name C-C motif chemokine ligand 15
Background Macrophage inflammatory protein 5 (CCL15) is a member of the human beta-chemokine family and is chemotactic for T cells and monocytes but not neutrophils, eosinophils, or B cells. It induces changes in intracellular calcium concentration in monocytes and is thought to act through the CCR1 receptor but also binds to CCR3.
Synonyms C-C motif chemokine 15, Small-inducible cytokine A15, Chemokine CC-2, NCC-3, NCC3, MIP-5, MIP-1 delta, Leukotactin-1, Mrp-2b, SCYA15
