Applications ELISA, WB
Recommended Dilution ELISA: To detect hMIP-5-alpha by direct ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hMIP-5-alpha.
Western blot: To detect hMIP-5-alpha by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-5-alpha is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Gene Name C-C motif chemokine ligand 15
Background Macrophage inflammatory protein 5 (CCL15) is a member of the human beta-chemokine family and is chemotactic for T cells and monocytes but not neutrophils, eosinophils, or B cells. It induces changes in intracellular calcium concentration in monocytes and is thought to act through the CCR1 receptor but also binds to CCR3.
Synonyms C-C motif chemokine 15, Small-inducible cytokine A15, Chemokine CC-2, NCC-3, NCC3, MIP-5, MIP-1 delta, Leukotactin-1, Mrp-2b, SCYA15
Note Molecular weight: 150 kDa.
