The Recombinant Human PRDX5 (50ng) and Cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human Peroxiredoxin 5 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.   Flow cytometry analysis of PRDX5 in in HeLa cell line, satininig at 2-5 ug for 1x106 cells (red line). The secondary antibody used goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa fluor 488 conjugate. Isotype control antibody was mouse IgG (black line).

  Immunofluorescence: ICC/IF analysis of PRDX5 in Hep3B cells line, stained with DAPI (Blue) for nucleus staining and monoclonal anti-human PRDX5 antibody (1:100) with goat anti-mouse IgG-Alexa fluor 488 conjugate (Green).

• Background: Peroxiredoxin 5, also known as PRDX5, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduces hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides with reducing equivalents provided through the thioredoxin system. This protein may play an antioxidant protective role in different tissues under normal conditions and during inflammatory processes. It has been reported that peroxiredoxin 5 is involved in intracellular redox sigling.
