Applications ELISA, WB
Recommended Dilution Elisa
Direct: To detect Mouse Exodus-2 by direct ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant Mouse Exodus-2.
Sandwich: To detect Mouse Exodus-2 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Anti-Murine Exodus-2 (PP021P1 or PP021P2) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant Mouse Exodus-2.
Western Blot: To detect mExodus-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant Mouse Exodus-2 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Gene Name C-C motif chemokine 21c
Background Exodus 2 is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterised by two adjacent cysteines. Similar to other chemokines the protein encoded by this gene inhibits hemopoiesis and stimulates chemotaxis. This protein is chemotactic in vitro for thymocytes and activated T cells, but not for B cells, macrophages, or neutrophils. The cytokine encoded by this gene may also play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to secondary lymphoid organs. It is a high affinity functional ligand for chemokine receptor 7 (CCR7) that is expressed on T and B lymphocytes and a known receptor for another member of the cytokine family (small inducible cytokine A19).
Synonyms C-C motif chemokine 21a, Beta chemokine exodus-2, Small-inducible cytokine A21a, Scya21a, TCA4, TCA-4
