OriGene Data
Vector: pCMV6-XL4 Insert Size: 2000 Restriction Site:
Sequence Data: Fully Sequenced ORF          5' Read Nucleotide Sequence
OTI Annotation: This TrueClone is provided through our Custom Cloning Process that includes sub-cloning into OriGene's pCMV6 vector and full sequencing to provide a non-variant match to the expected reference without frameshifts, and is delivered as lyophilized plasmid DNA
OTI Disclaimer: Our molecular clone sequence data has been matched to the reference identifier above as a point of reference. Note that the complete sequence of our molecular clones may differ from the sequence published for this corresponding reference, e.g., by representing an alternative RNA splicing form or single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP).
Product Components: The cDNA clone is shipped in a 2-D bar-coded Matrix tube as dried plasmid DNA. The package also includes 100 pmols of both the corresponding 5' and 3' vector primers in separate vials. Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of OriGene TrueClones.

Reference Data
RefSeq Explanation: NM_178426.1, NP_848513
RefSeq Size: 3563 RefSeq ORF: 987
Synonyms : bHLHe2; HIF-1beta; HIF1B; HIF1BETA; TANGO;HIF-1beta; HIF1B; HIF1BETA; TANGO; OTTHUMP00000032943; dioxin receptor, nuclear translocator; hypoxia-inducible factor 1, beta subunit; aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator
LocusID: 405 Cytogenetic: 1q21.3
Gene Summary: Required for activity of the Ah (dioxin) receptor. This protein is required for the ligand-binding subunit to translocate from the cytosol to the nucleus after ligand binding. The complex then initiates transcription of genes involved in the activation of PAH procarcinogens. The heterodimer with HIF1A or EPAS1/HIF2A functions as a transcriptional regulator of the adaptive response to hypoxia. [UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot Function]

Transcript Variant: This variant (2) lacks several alternate segments, compared to variant 1, that causes a frameshift. The resulting protein (isoform 2) is shorter and has a distinct C-terminus, compared to variant 1.
