Homo sapiens CD3g molecule, gamma (CD3-TCR complex) (CD3G)
Synonyms:
CD3-GAMMA; T3G
Immunogen
A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues at the C-terminus of human CD3 gamma was used as an immunogen.
Buffer
Store at -20 C. Buffer: 50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% sodium azide and 0.05% BSA. Stable for 12 months from date of receipt.
CD3 is composed of five invariant polypeptide chains that associate to form three dimers. The five invariant chains of CD3 are labeled gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta (3). CD3 forms complex with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) (1). Antigen binding to the TCR leads to IL-2 secretion via activation of a tyrosine phosphorylation pathway and a phospholipase C (PLC) pathway, in turn activating protein kinase C (1,2). Defects in this protein are associated with T cell immunodeficiency (4).
