Anti-EGF GAT Antibody Polyclonal
Generated by Genomic Immunization
|DNA immunization. This antibody is specific for the C Terminus Region of the target protein.|
|WB, ELISA, DB
|| WB 1:20000,ELISA 1:100-1:2000
|20 mM Potassium Phosphate, 150 mM Sodium Chloride, pH 7.0|
|The fragment used for DNA immunization was expressed in E.coli and the purified protein fragment was used for affinity purification of the antibody.

|Homo sapiens epidermal growth factor (EGF), transcript variant 1|
|Epidermal growth factor has a profound effect on the differentiation of specific cells in vivo and is a potent mitogenic factor for a variety of cultured cells of both ectodermal and mesodermal origin. The EGF precursor is believed to exist as a membrane-bound molecule which is proteolytically cleaved to generate the 53-amino acid peptide hormone that stimulates cells to divide.|

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY EGF (RC210817, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-EGF.
Dot Blot: EGF Antibody - The anti-EGF antibody (left quadruplicate spots at each panel) or control antibody (right quadruplicate spots at each panel) were printed on membranes at 10 ng/spot. The membranes were incubated with biotinylated cell lysate (50 ug per membrane), followed by probing with streptavidin-HRP and CCD camera image acquisition. Dot Blot: EGF Antibody - Protein samples (left spot: 293T cell lysate; right spot: Jurkat cell lysate) were printed on membranes at 40 ng/spot. The membrane was incubated with anti-EGF antibody (1:4000 dilution) and then probed anti-rabbit IgG-HRP. Signals were acquired with a CCD camera. Data courtesy of a SDI customer.
