Background	DRG1 belongs to the GTP1/OBG family, which contains 1 G (guanine nucleotide-binding) domain. It is a critical regulator of cell growth under specific conditions, and is implicated in differentiation and cell cycle arrest. DRG1 is sumoylated by UBE2I in response to MEKK1-mediated stimuli (1).
