Vector: pCMV6-Entry QM Insert Size: 7746 Restriction Site: SgfI-MluI
Sequence Data: Fully Sequenced ORF
OTI Disclaimer: Our molecular clone sequence data has been matched to the reference identifier above as a point of reference. Note that the complete sequence of our molecular clones may differ from the sequence published for this corresponding reference, e.g., by representing an alternative RNA splicing form or single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP).
Product Components: The cDNA clone is shipped in a 2-D bar-coded Matrix tube as dried plasmid DNA. The package also includes 100 pmols of both the corresponding 5' and 3' vector primers in separate vials. Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of OriGene TrueClones.

Gene Summary: This gene encodes a member of the chromodomain-helicase-DNA binding protein family, which is characterized by a SNF2-like domain and two chromatin organization modifier domains. The encoded protein also contains brahma and kismet domains, which is common to the subfamily of chromodomain-helicase-DNA binding proteins to which this protein belongs. In mammals, this gene has been shown to function in several processes including transcriptional regulation, epigenetic remodeling, promotion of cell proliferation, and regulation of RNA synthesis. Knockout of this gene in mice causes early embryonic lethality due to widespread apoptosis. Heterozygous loss of function mutations in mice result in autism spectrum disorder-like behaviors that include increased anxiety, repetitive behavior, and altered social behavior.
