  HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY CDK2 (RC200494, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-CDK2 (TA502808). Positive lysates LY419741 (100ug) and LC419741 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  Coomassie blue staining of purified CDK2 protein (Cat# TP300494). The protein was produced from HEK293T cells transfected with CDK2 cDNA clone (Cat# RC200494) using MegaTran 2.0 (Cat# TT210002).

• 

  Anti-CDK2 mouse monoclonal antibody (TA502808) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY CDK2 (RC200494).

• HEK293T cells transfected with either RC200494 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-CDK2 antibody (TA502808), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

• OTI Annotation: This clone was engineered to express the complete ORF with an expression tag. Expression varies depending on the nature of the gene.
• Product Components: The ORF clone is ion-exchange column purified and shipped in a 2D barcoded Matrix tube containing 10ug of transfection-ready, dried plasmid DNA (reconstitute with 100 ul of water).
• Reconstitution: 1. Centrifuge at 5,000xg for 5min.
  2. Carefully open the tube and add 100ul of sterile water to dissolve the DNA.
  3. Close the tube and incubate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Briefly vortex the tube and then do a quick spin (less than 5000xg) to concentrate the liquid at the bottom.
  5. Store the suspended plasmid at -20°C. The DNA is stable for at least one year from date of shipping when stored at -20°C.

The encoded protein is the catalytic subunit of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase complex, which regulates progression through the cell cycle. Activity of this protein is especially critical during the G1 to S phase transition. This protein associates with and regulated by other subunits of the complex including cyclin A or E, CDK inhibitor p21Cip1 (CDKN1A), and p27Kip1 (CDKN1B).
