HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY MAGEA3 (RC203288, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-MAGEA3. Positive lysates LY417358 (100ug) and LC417358 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  Western blot analysis of extracts (10ug) from 2 different cell lines by using anti-MAGEA3 monoclonal antibody at 1:200.

• Background: This gene is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls.
