LAIR1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [Clone ID: NKTA255]
LAIR1 mouse monoclonal antibody, clone NKTA255, Aff - Purified
|Applications||FC, IP, WB|
|Recommended Dilution||Western Blot: This antibody detects a band of approximately 40 kDa.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μl of 1/50-1/100 diluted antibody to label 106 cells in 100 μl.
|Immunogen||NK cells lines B12.100 and AM.25. Spleen cells from immunised mice were fused with cells of the P3U1 myeloma cell line.|
|Specificity||This antibody recognises leukocyte-associated Ig-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1).
Clone NKTA255 is reported to inhibit NK cell triggering via CD16 molecules (See Poggi, A. et al.for details). We recommend the use of Azide Free Antibody Cat.-No SM2048A for this purpose.
see Poggi, A. et al. for details.

|Background||LAIR-1 is a 40kD cell surface molecule that functions as an inhibitory receptor on natural killer cells, monocytes and T cells. LAIR-1, otherwise known as CD305, is also expressed by other haematopoeitic cells including B cells, but is not expressed by nonhaematopoietic, platelets or erythrocytes.|
