| Recommended Dilution | Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot) and ELISA. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate Porcine Pancreas in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG L - Cat# H (Goat) and o-Phenylenediamine (OPD) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1:50 to 1:100 is suggested for this product. This product has been assayed against 1.5 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate Porcine Pancreas per lane by Immunoblot (Western) under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE prior to transfer to nitrocellulose and detection using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG L - Cat# H (Goat) and Diaminobenzidine (DAB) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1:50 to 1:200 is suggested for this product. |

| Clonality | Polyclonal |
| Immunogen | Sonicated crude membrane fraction of porcine pancreatic islets of langerhans cells. |
| Specificity | This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Dog Serum. Cross reactivity was determined by immunoblot (western) to be minimal against porcine kidney and porcine liver cell lysates. |
