HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PAICS (RC215225, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PAICS. Positive lysates LY416636 (100ug) and LC416636 (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

  Western blot analysis of extracts (35ug) from 9 different cell lines by using anti-PAICS monoclonal antibody.

• 

  Western blot analysis of extracts (10ug) from a mouse cell line and 3 different mouse tissues by using anti-PAICS monoclonal antibody (1:200).

• 

  Anti-PAICS mouse monoclonal antibody (TA501485) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY PAICS (RC215225).

• 

  HEK293T cells transfected with either RC215225 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-PAICS antibody (TA501485), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

• Background: This gene encodes a bifunctional enzyme containing phosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase activity in its N-terminal region and phosphoribosylaminoimidazole succinocarboxamide synthetase in its C-terminal region. It catalyzes steps 6 and 7 of purine biosynthesis. The gene is closely linked and divergently transcribed with a locus that encodes an enzyme in the same pathway, and transcription of the two genes is coordinately regulated.
