| Specificity | This antibody is specific to Rabbit RLA-DR chain (Mr ~35 kDa). It reacts with RLA-DR-transfected cells, but not with RLA-DQ-transfected cells (Ref.1) and, in normal adult rabbits, 50-60% of peripheral blood leukocytes and splenocytes. (Ref.1,2) It also been reported that the antibody stains: lymphocytes in the thymic medulla and some cells in the cortex; periportal cells in the liver; and synovial lining cell (i.e., infiltrating macrophages) in inflamed synovium. (Ref.3) |
