MILLENNIUM RNA MARKER

Millennium RNA Marker provides easy and accurate molecular weight determination of single-stranded RNAs from 0.5 to 9.0 kb. This marker contains 10 RNA bands and is ideal for use in Northern blot protocols and the determination of RNA molecular weight.
MillenniumMarker.JPG

  • Ten RNA bands for accurate size determination
  • Easy-to-remember sizes ranging from 0.5 to 9.0 kb
  • Markers hybridize with ??DNA for autoradiographic detection

Millennium RNA Marker's RNA ladder consists of a series of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 and 9.0 kilobase transcripts. This large number of well-separated RNA bands allows the construction of an accurate standard curve for determining the sizes of unknown mRNA species. Each lot of Millennium RNA Marker contains bands at approximately the same intensity and is free of nuclease contamination.

Millennium RNA Marker is provided at a concentration of 1 ug/ul. Bands are easily viewed by ethidium bromide staining when 2 ul are separated in a denaturing agarose gel
