OriGene Data
Vector:pCMV6-XL4 Insert Size: 3700 Restriction Site:
Sequence Data: Fully Sequenced ORF          5' Read Nucleotide Sequence          3' Read Nucleotide Sequence
OTI Annotation: There is 1 nucleotide difference between the OriGene clone and the NCBI reference ORF. OriGene considers these to be polymorphisms and to reflect the natural differences between individuals. These result in the substituion of 1 aa.
OTI Disclaimer: Our molecular clone sequence data has been matched to the reference identifier above as a point of reference. Note that the complete sequence of our molecular clones may differ from the sequence published for this corresponding reference, e.g., by representing an alternative RNA splicing form or single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP).
Product Components: The cDNA clone is shipped in a 2-D bar-coded Matrix tube as dried plasmid DNA. The package also includes 100 pmols of both the corresponding 5' and 3' vector primers in separate vials. Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of OriGene TrueClones.
Protein Families: Druggable Genome
Protein Pathways: Regulation of actin cytoskeleton
Reference Data
RefSeq: NM_015320.2, NP_056135
RefSeq Size: 3667 RefSeq ORF: 2073
Synonyms : ASEF; ASEF1; GEF4; STM6
LocusID: 50649 Cytogenetic: 2q22
Summary: Rho GTPases play a fundamental role in numerous cellular processes that are initiated by extracellular stimuli that work through G protein coupled receptors. The protein encoded by this gene may form complex with G proteins and stimulate Rho-dependent signals. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found, but the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2013].

Transcript Variant: This variant (1) encodes the longer isoform (a).
