Vector:pCMV6-XL5 Insert Size: Restriction Site:
Sequence Data: Fully Sequenced ORF          5' Read Nucleotide Sequence
OTI Disclaimer: Due to the inherent nature of this plasmid, standard methods to replicate additional amounts of DNA in E. coli are highly likely to result in mutations and/or rearrangements. Therefore, OriGene does not guarantee the capability to replicate this plasmid DNA. Additional amounts of DNA can be purchased from OriGene with batch-specific, full-sequence verification at a reduced cost. Please contact our customer care team at custsupport@origene.com or by calling 301.340.3188 option 3 for pricing and delivery.
Product Components: The cDNA clone is shipped in a 2-D bar-coded Matrix tube as dried plasmid DNA. The package also includes 100 pmols of both the corresponding 5' and 3' vector primers in separate vials. Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of OriGene TrueClones.

Reference Data
RefSeq: BC015821.1, AAH15821
RefSeq Size: 834 RefSeq ORF: 501
Synonyms : MLC2;CMH10; DKFZp779C0562; RLC of myosin; cardiac ventricular myosin light chain 2; myosin light chain 2; myosin regulatory light chain 2, ventricular/cardiac muscle isoform; myosin, light polypeptide 2, regulatory, cardiac, slow; regulatory light chain
LocusID: 4633 Cytogenetic: 12q24.11
Summary: Thus gene encodes the regulatory light chain associated with cardiac myosin beta (or slow) heavy chain. Ca+ triggers the phosphorylation of regulatory light chain that in turn triggers contraction. Mutations in this gene are associated with mid-left ventricular chamber type hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
