Dr.H Varmus's lab used TissueScan in a recent publication in Oncogene (2009) MYC-induced myeloid leukemogenesis is accelerated by all six members of the antiapoptotic BCL family 

"Using TissueScan oncology survey panel from Origene, we performed quantitative real-time PCR analysis on cDNA acquired from 60 different tissues and tumor samples. Following quantitative real-time PCR analysis, we observed elevated levels of BFL1 in eight of nine breast tumor samples and three of nine colon tumor samples, compared to the normal tissue controls.  Increased BCL2 expression was also detected in seven of the nine breast cancer samples, and BCLxl  was overexpressed in a number of ovarian tumors."
