Home Destination Vector pCMV6-AC-FC

PrecisionShuttle mammalian vector with C-terminal FC tag
Features:
- ORFs cloned in this vector will be expressed in mammalian cells as a tagged protein with a C- terminal murine Fc tag.
- The Fc-tag encodes the CH2 and CH3 domains of the mouse IgG heavy chain and the hinge region. A fusion protein is comprised of two relatively independent parts connected with a flexible spacer. Fc fusion provides several advantages in protein applications:
- Easy purification using protein A or protein G affinity chromatography.
- Increased solubility.
- Excellent antigen in mouse mAB production without cleavage, as the murine Fc is not antigenic in mice.
- If the C-terminal tagging interferes with the protein’s function, you can choose the N-terminal Fc-tagging vector, PS100055
Schematic of the multiple cloning sites:
All OriGene’s TrueORFs inserts can be subcloned into this vector via custom cloning service. To use this service:
- Find the gene of interest using any of the Gene Name, Gene Symbol, Accession Number or Keyword.
- At the product page displaying the correct gene of interest, choose the appropriate destination vector and select the “Custom Cloning” .
