PrecisionShuttle mammalian vector with N-terminal mCFP , 10 ug
- ORFs cloned in this vector will be expressed in mammalian cells as a tagged protein with an N-terminal mCFP (monomeric) tag.
- mCFP is a cyan monomeric protein. It possesses bright fluorescence with excitation/emission maxima at 458 and 480 nm, respectively. mCFP is significantly brighter than commonly used ECFP. mCFP is mainly intended for protein labeling in protein localization and interaction studies. It can also be used for cell and organelle labeling and for tracking the promoter activity.
- If the N-terminal tagging interferes with the protein’s function, you can choose the C-terminal mCFP-tagging vector, PS100044.
