Home Destination Vector pCMV6-AC-mYFP
pCMV6-AC-mYFP, mammalian vector with C-terminal mYFP , 10ug
- ORFs cloned in this vector will be expressed in mammalian cells as a tagged protein with a C-terminal mYFP (monomeric) tag.
- mYFP is a monomeric yellow fluorescent protein. mYFP possesses single excitation maximum at 508 nm, and emission maximum at 524 nm. mYFP is more pH stable than EYFP.
mYFP is mainly intended for protein labeling in protein localization and interaction studies. It can also be used for cell and organelle labeling and for tracking the promoter activity, although TurboYFP is preferable for such applications because it mature faster and give brighter fluorescent signal.
- If the C-terminal tagging interferes with the protein’s function, you can choose the N-terminal mYFP-tagging vector, PS100050.
