OriGene Data
Vector:pCMV6-AC Insert Size: Restriction Site: RsrII-NotI
Sequence Data: Fully Sequenced ORF          5' Read Nucleotide Sequence
OTI Annotation: This TrueClone is provided through our Custom Cloning Process that includes sub-cloning into OriGene's pCMV6 vector and full sequencing to provide a non-variant match to the expected reference without frameshifts, and is delivered as lyophilized plasmid DNA
OTI Disclaimer: Our molecular clone sequence data has been matched to the reference identifier above as a point of reference. Note that the complete sequence of our molecular clones may differ from the sequence published for this corresponding reference, e.g., by representing an alternative RNA splicing form or single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP).
Product Components: The cDNA clone is shipped in a 2-D bar-coded Matrix tube as dried plasmid DNA. The package also includes 100 pmols of both the corresponding 5' and 3' vector primers in separate vials. Every lot of primer is tested to provide clean sequencing of OriGene TrueClones.
Protein Pathways: Citrate cycle (TCA cycle)Propanoate metabolismMetabolic pathways
Reference Data
RefSeq: NM_003848.1, NP_003839
RefSeq Size: 2339 RefSeq ORF: 1154
Synonyms : GBETA
LocusID: 8801 Cytogenetic: 3p14.1
Summary: This gene encodes a GTP-specific beta subunit of succinyl-CoA synthetase. Succinyl-CoA synthetase catalyzes the reversible reaction involving the formation of succinyl-CoA and succinate. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 5 and 12. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010].

Transcript Variant: This variant (2) differs in the 3' UTR, and 3' coding region, compared to variant 1. The encoded isoform (2) is shorter and has a distinct C-terminus, compared to isoform 1.
