Alpha2-HS glycoprotein (AHSG), a glycoprotein present in the serum, is synthesized by hepatocytes. The AHSG molecule consists of two polypeptide chains, which are both cleaved from a proprotein encoded from a single mRNA. It is involved in several functions, such as endocytosis, brain development and the formation of bone tissue. The protein is commonly present in the cortical plate of the immature cerebral cortex and bone marrow hemopoietic matrix, and it has therefore been postulated that it participates in the development of the tissues. HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY AHSG (RC208344, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-AHSG.
HEK293T cells transfected with either RC208344 overexpress plasmid(Red) or empty vector control plasmid(Blue) were immunostained by anti-AHSG antibody(TA504670), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
