The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities and are involved in a variety of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY FGF21 (RC204538, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-FGF21.
HEK293T cells transfected with either RC204538 overexpress plasmid(Red) or empty vector control plasmid(Blue) were immunostained by anti-FGF21 antibody(TA502788), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
