|LMO4 belongs to a family of LIM-only transcriptional regulators, the first two members of which are oncoproteins in acute T cell leukemia (1). It is a cysteine-rich protein that contains two LIM zinc-binding domains but lacks a DNA-binding homeodomain (2). It has been suggested that deregulation of LMO4 may contribute to breast tumorigenesis (1).|
