FunctionCKR7, or C-C chemokine receptor type 7, is a G protein-coupled, seven-transmembrane domain receptor protein. Originally identified as the EBV-induced gene-1 (1), CKR7 was later found to be the receptor for the chemokines CCL21 (SLC, 6Ckine, Exodus-2) (3) and CCL19 (MIP-3 beta, Exodus-3, ELC) (4). CCR7 is expressed in lymphoid tissues and activated B and T lymphocytes (2). It is up-regulated in B cells infected with Epstein-Barr virus and T cells infected with herpesvirus 6 or 7 (4).

ICC/IF image of TA310252 stained HeLa cells. The cells were 4% PFA fixed (10 min) and then incubated in 1%BSA / 10% normal goat serum / 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody (TA310252, 1ug/ml) overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (green) was Alexa Fluor 488 goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Alexa Fluor 594 WGA was used to label plasma membranes (red) at a 1/200 dilution for 1h. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43uM.
