|Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein, which has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell, is controlled by G-proteins and plays an important role in regulating heartbeat. It associates with three other G-protein-activated potassium channels to form a heteromultimeric pore-forming complex. [provided by RefSeq].|

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY KCNJ3 (RC205322, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-KCNJ3.
Anti-KCNJ3 mouse monoclonal antibody (TA504198) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY KCNJ3(RC205322).
HEK293T cells transfected with either RC205322 overexpress plasmid(Red) or empty vector control plasmid(Blue) were immunostained by anti-KCNJ3 antibody(TA504198), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.
Flow cytometric Analysis of Jurkat cells, using anti-KCNJ3 antibody(TA504198),(Red), compared to a nonspecific negative control antibody,(Blue).
