2H8 Anti-tGFP Monoclonal Antibody

Anti-tGFP Western Blot Image
Fig1. Immunoblot analysis of randomly picked 7 different tGFP tagged over-expression lysates with 2H8 anti-tGFP monoclonal antibody (TA150041) at 1:2000 dilution.

2H8 anti-tGFP (turboGFP) monoclonal antibody has been developed for the detection of tGFP tag fused to the N- or C-terminus of recombinant proteins

  • Validated for Western blot and immunofluorescent staining
  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Detect recombinant proteins with low expression levels

Immunogen

A tGFP tagged recombinant protein expressed in HEK293T cell

tGFP (turbo GFP)

tGFP is an improved variant of GFP (green fluorescent protein) with bright green fluorescence, high pH-stability and photostability. The fast appearance of bright fluorescence of tGFP is critical for the applications of cell labeling, organelle labeling and promoter activity tracking.

tGFP is used as an expression tag for OriGene's tGFP-tagged TrueORF cDNA clones (catalog number RG2xxxxx & MG2xxxxx).

anti-turboGFP antibody immunofluorescent staining (BID)
Figure 2. Cos7 cells transiently transfected with turboGFP tagged BID ORF cDNA clone (RC100007) for mitochondria marking were immuno-stained with OriGene’s 2H8 anti-turboGFP antibody (TA150041) (1:100), and then stained red with an Alexa-568 conjugated secondary antibody (1:1,000).
anti-turboGFP antibody immunofluorescent staining (LAMP1)
Figure 3. Cos7 cells transiently transfected with turboGFP tagged LAMP1 ORF cDNA clone (RC100016) for lysosome marking were immuno-stained with OriGene’s 2H8 anti-turboGFP antibody (TA150041) (1:100), and then stained red with an Alexa-568 conjugated secondary antibody (1:1,000).
anti-turboGFP antibody IP data
Figure 4. Immunoprecipitation (IP) of recombinant tGFP fusion protein from overexpression lysate made with HEK293T cells transfected by plasmid expressing tGFP-DDK. The immunoprecipitated tGFP fusion protein was analyzed by immunoblot with rabbit anti-DDK polyclonal antibody.
