Description: Mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1) purified from mouse ascites fluids by affinity chromatography.

Immunogen: Anti-His monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing mice with a synthetic peptide (HHHHHH) coupled to KLH.

Specificity / Sensitivity: The anti-His tag antibody recognizes recombinant proteins containing a His epitope tag fused to either the amino- or the carboxy-termini targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells or prokaryotic expression systems.

Formulation: 400μg lyophilized powder.

Restitution: The lyophilized antibody can be reconstituted with 100μl of ddH2O. The concentration after reconstitution will be 4 μg/μl.

Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20ºC from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to opening the cap. After reconstitution, aliquot into small quantity for long term storage at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Aliquots for short-term usage will be stable at 4ºC for 3 months.

Application: Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Prepare working dilution immediately before use. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows:
Western blot: 1:4000
