Home Antibody Antitag Antibodies Anti-tYFP 14C4 anti-tYFP

14C4 anti-tYFP Monoclonal Antibody
Figure 1. HEK293T cells were transfected with the
pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY TYFP (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-tYFP (TA150028).

The 14C4 anti-tYFP (turbo-yellow fluorescent protein) monoclonal antibody has been developed for the detection of tYFP tag fused to the N- or C-terminus of recombinant proteins
- Validated for Western blot, immunofluorescent staining and flow cytometry
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Detect recombinant proteins with low expression levels

Turbo-YFP (turbo-yellow fluorescent protein)
TurboYFP is an enhanced variant of the yellow fluorescent protein PhiYFP from jellyfish Phialidium sp. [Shagin et al., 2004]. It possesses super bright yellow fluorescence with emission maximum at 538 nm and is ideally positioned between green and red fluorescent proteins, allowing easy separation of these markers by flow cytometry using common channels of detection and a single laser excitation line. Compared with Phi-Yellow proteins, turboYFP matures faster in mammalian cells. TurboYFP is mainly intended for applications where fast appearance of bright fluorescence is crucial. It is specially recommended for cell labeling and tracking the promoter activity. Destabilized turboYFP variant allows accurate analysis of rapid and/or transient events in gene regulation
