Comparing to KN201598, the above kits contain:

  • Identical gRNA vectors
  • Identical LHA & RHA
  • Different donor cassette
Kit Components
KN201598G1, ENOSF1 gRNA vector 1 in pCas-Guide vector
KN201598G2, ENOSF1 gRNA vector 2 in pCas-Guide vector
KN201598D, donor vector containing Left and right homologous arms and GFP-Puro functional cassette.
GE100003, scramble sequence in pCas-Guide vector

The kit is designed based on the best knowledge of CRISPR technology. The system has been functionally validated for knocking-in the cassette downstream the native promoter. The efficiency of the knock-out varies due to the nature of the biology and the complexity of the experimental process.

Synonyms: RTS; TYMSAS
Summary: This gene was originally identified as a naturally occurring antisense transcript to the human thymidylate synthase gene. Alternate splice variants have been described, one of which (named rTSalpha) represents an alternate 3'UTR that is complementary to the 3'UTR and terminal intron of the thymidylate synthase (TS) RNA and down-regulates TS expression. Other transcript variants (rTSbeta and rTSgamma) do not overlap the TS locus. The function of this gene appears to be primarily to regulate expression of the TS locus both via the antisense transcript as well as through the encoded proteins. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010].
